Kristen is 20 years old and has been singing in local coffee shops and bars of Sudbury with her Guitar, Susanna. She recorded both cd's " like a confession", and "Searching for Solid Ground" at Easter Island Studios. Kristen has been influenced by artists such as Tegan and Sara, Ani diFranco and the Be Good Tanyas. She was selected to perform in a youth showcase at the 2005 Ontario Council of Folk Festivals annual conference. She also played at Northern Lights Festival Boreal,2006 and Summerfest 2006+ 07. She currently graduated from Radio Broadcasting at Canadore College and has FINALLY completed her 1st professional album Bright Lights.

Hey, man. Well I bought a Be Good Tanyas CD and I want my ten bucks back! It just sounds like a slower popped up version of ACTUAL folk music. I hope I don't sound too much like that...anyways, it was a nice thought though. Hahahaaa don't blame it on me!
I really remembered, I want you to check out a song. It's called uniform grey by sarah harmer.. I'm pretty sure she sings it.. a girl I planted with always sang it, she listens to the be good tanyas so i figured she must know something lol
