where to start? born & raised in the suburbs of philly, attended emerson college in boston, currently the afternoon drive host on 92.9 zzu in spokane, wa - music has always been an integral part of my life. i first picked up a guitar when i was 14 but had to stop lessons at 16 because i was too busy with school, work, musical theater, theater guild, three separate choirs and voice lessons to be able to focus on it. unfortunately, the trend of business kept up until i was 19, when i went out and spent a pretty penny (ok, a lot of pretty pennies) on a nice guitar ... but i didn't start allowing myself to work on music again until i was 21. (i'm 23 now).
so you get to watch me grow in my musical abilities. lucky you. note that "cold turkey" is a john lennon cover. had an original up but took it down for several reasons, mostly that i wasn't happy with the way it sounded ... working on more. keep your fingers crossed for me. ;)
Hehe! I remember that conversation (but was your glitter green or purple!?) I am doing well, I have been doing a lot of internships, that's been a trip, and I joined working on a production of a variety show that supports (promotes) artists from the new england area and its my favorite thing to do everyweek! the shoot is really fun, if you have some time there are clips from the show posted at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSteveKatsosShow. Sometimes you can hear the host yelling at me to start clapping, haha. He'll be all: "Give me some Pizzi!" And that's when I know I messed something up and didn't perform my job as Audience Coordinator, haha! So that's been awesome ... Got my driver's license earlier this year! W00t! That was a relief since I failed the first time ... and, what else? Ah, still living in Boston! At least, you know, until I can get a job and save up to move else where. Kinda bored with New England, I've been here for the first 1/4 of my life!! How are things where you are? Would you suggest that as a nice place to live? Haha. I am taking notes on these things now; the first chance I get I'll hop on out of here :D How is your job going? I see you have a song posted on your myspace profile ... do you plan on releasing an album soon!? :) Anyway, it was great hearing from you! I wish the best of luck to you with all of your endeavours, Your Old School Chum, Andrea
ps. if you're ever back in boston perhaps you can be a guest on The Steve Katsos Show! haha, just something to think about! ;)
Oh yeah I'm all over season 4. I'm assuming you finished 3 right? (stupid question I know) yeah this season will be way intense, the body in the back of the car, Cops and all at the crash site soooo intense. I think he's gonna take on the trinity killers codes as he stated he let go of his father! Ugggh damn you season 4!
Thanks for the add Kristen! I remember talking with you in sociology class about how you had to go out and record sounds for an audio project and now here you are very successful working in the industry with your own fans! haha! Wonderful! Wonderful! All the best to you Kristen! ~Andrea
