From a very young age, Kristen Cook had her heart and mind set on entertainment. Having been raised in a northern suburb of Boston, MA, Kristen had a lot of exposure to many kinds of music and was inspired by several great musicians, including her drummer father. She began playing piano, singing, and later acting at a semi-professional level, all before reaching 12 years old. After years of preliminary training from various teachers, institutions and conservatories across New England, Kristen was accepted to Berklee College of Music and graduated with a BA degree in Professional Music in 2006. Under the tutelage of such music and songwriting greats as Livingston Taylor, Kathy Matthea, Pat Pattison, Robin McKelle and John Mayer, Kristen has honed her voice, songwriting, piano and guitar skills into a career as a singer, songwriter, entertainer and educator.
With her soul firmly rooted in the seaside town in Massachusetts, where she grew up in a loving family that fueled her passion for performing arts, Kristen is now residing in Los Angeles, California living her dream. She is currently booking venues, festivals and parties in Southern California. Catch the energy of this East coast kid with a West coast vibration.
