Hey guys!
I love meeting new people and hearing life stories! People know me as Kristen McNamara, but all my friends call me KMAC. You can call me KMAC if you want! I am a singer/songwriter, I grew up on the top of a mountain in Northern California. With no neighbors or TV and the nearest mall an hour away, music and dance kept me entertained. Everyone in my family is musical for the most part! I find peace when I find the time to dance. I have a little sister and wonderful hardworking parents. My Grandma McNamara is my hero and one of my best friends. I wish I could play the piano as well as she can! I have over 45 cousins and grew up with chickens, horses and more! I sold chicken eggs on the corner for 2$ per dozen in our small town of 1500 people. I was the kid who played dress up then was getting my princess outfit caught on branches from climbing a tree, trying to balance while holding lipgloss in one hand and a squirt gun in the other. I was a girl scout my entire childhood and have the badges to prove it. I was a ballerina from age 2 - 14. I then realized I wasn't the most graceful girl on earth, it was time to pick another hobby. I don't watch the news too often because it's depressing. Laughing is a hobby of mine and so is bargain shopping. My first gig singing was in church and then I graduated to the next level, the church choir! I was 13, and was the youngest member. I say "Oh Nuggets" a lot, and love to bake, paint and fish.
Some of my favorite memories was from when I was young: My dad bought new garbage cans when I was in about 3rd grade. My cousin and I found it very entertaining to close ourselves inside of them and roll down the hill for hours. My little sister was the destructive one, she saw me signing autographs at a young age, so she decided to take a Sharpe to her pillows and walls, signing autographs. I also remember the time my little sister took a crayon and marker to my new bible drawing pictures in it, while days later she cut the hair off of my favorite doll. My sister at age 8.... was selling my CDs at one of my concerts, then disappeared for an hour. She finally came strolling back with no money left from the CD sales. Come to find out she was off buying cowgirls hats, cotton candy, soda pop, and much more for herself and her friends, nice work sis. One of my dark secrets as a child, was the time I snuck out of daycare, and walked down the street picking flowers and selling them to people. Unaware at the fact that one of the people I sold flowers to, out of their own yard, was the State Senator. Oops....! Having to explain to Miss. Carole how I suddenly was caught with $4.23 and 2 blocks down the street.... I got put in timeout for a good while for that one! When I was younger, I would go outside to sing opera while sitting on my swing in our front yard. I liked doing that because the acres of pine and redwood trees would create amazing acoustics! I am a huge dork at heart, and get my sense of humor from my Uncle Dave. Music, family and friends are my life, I have been a singer/songwriter since I was 11 and haven't stopped since! At age 15, my first paying gig was a funeral. Soon after I was hired for weddings and parties. At 16 I finally landed a job singing for the 49ers and San Francisco Giants. Recording demos and visiting record companies, I just never got my big break. I flew the cage when I was 17 to sing and dance 2 shows daily 6 days a week in Branson, MO. A year later, I then moved to Nashville, TN in 2004 to pursue a serious music career. I love the major classic artists, such as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Bryan Adams, and more ....All the greats. My favorites from the new age music would be, Leona Lewis, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears,.... (P.s. Leave Britney alone, she's great). I am currently writing and singing as much as possible, still chasing my dream!
My mission is to spread a real message people can relate to through my music and spirit, by just being myself. I believe my job is to help people through the talent God blessed me with. I am determined to change the world through my music and drive to help those in need. I created an organization that helps people called "L.A.U.G.H." (Love. All. Unconditionally. Giving Hope.) I plan to travel to many places in my own country as well as others, to search and help those in need. Giving music, smiles, and memories. I love children, I love people in general and just want to help. I will. We will. Together. Love, Kristen. :o)
One of my favorite quotes.... People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; be successful anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway. -Mother Theresa

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
