Kristen Marie Holly (vocals and guitar), plus various other endlessly talented artists who occasionally sit in to accompany live shows. Including but not limited to: Pamela Buchignani, Cari Craig, and Stefan Scott.
Hi, I'm Kristen. I've been writing music since I could walk, it is what I do whether I want to or not. I've written, recorded, and produced music mostly reclusively, including work composing and scoring for plays and films. I'm prone to stage fright, and I brave performing anyhow. In autumn of 2005 I performed my first truly solo shows with a batch of brand new music. Since then, I've played in tiny and dingy to very nice spots in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. In a bout of impulsive lust, I decided to play at a festival in Sweden in the summer of 2006. As I planned the trip, I decided to go all out, and book as many shows as possible. Between July 22nd and September 24th, 2006, I played 27 shows in England, Scotland, Sweden, Norway, Holland, and Belgium. I found a booking agent along the way, and I knew I had to continue. I returned for a second and third tour of EU/UK since then, playing 60 or more shows in Iceland, Germany, and the other countries I already mentioned. My music is raw and simple. I call it "acoustic alternative rock". Music is my passion, next to pursuing my career as an actress. Old news: I have principal roles in Spider-Man and Entourage, as well as other film and television projects. I won the 2005 "Best Actress" Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival for my lead dramatic role in "The Collapsing Wall". My song, “Not Gonna Make Me Cry”, is featured in the film "This Space Between Us", released on DVD in November 2006, starring Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under), Poppy Montgomery (Without a Trace), and Erik Palladino (ER, Over There). I am in an Epiphone Guitar commercial, which ran nationally in the U.S., rocking out with a guitar while perched on a washing machine. In 2008, I had some luck booking jobs including principal roles in Gus van Sant's "Milk", a national "Amp" commercial, a national "sony" commercial, and a "Brown and Tolland" commercial (running in the SF Bay Area). For over a year, I have been working on the album of all albums, which seems to be taking forever to complete. I have been working hard, spending a lot of time alone and busy (VERY!) this year. The album will have it's final mix done and be ready for release some time in 2009. My website is outdated, but if you are so inclined, for more information, original music, pictures, movie trailers, and more, please go to: www.kristenmarieholly.com. Thank you for reading and for your continued support. Connection is what keeps me going. You rock.

Hey there, Here's one from left field... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible. Help to raise awareness. Say have you checked out my web site (www.faberoptime.com) recently? Take care and keep in touch. Best, Faber. "Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."
