With my loves- Lorraine, Favi, and Lacey!
At Tao Beach
My mom and sisters! =) ...in Michigan at a family wedding ;P
Favi's birthday dinner at Tao =) xoxo
Music and art are my passions in life!(anything and everything)=I have a Roland E. Piano I use to play and sing to (a somewhat operatic combo classic jazz voice<- song example, Gloomy Sunday ), photography (which is why I model, as well as graphic art and digital retouch), painting with oils, drawing with charcoal, I love my 3 dogs(family!!), theater is the best (Phantom of the Opera, Carmen, etc), a good thrill (bunjee jumping, hopefully skydiving soon!), clubbing/dancing, have 2 tattoos, 4 navel piercings, Egyptian history <--(yeah, obsessed), art (oil paintings are my fave, especially 16th-18th century european art), I also DO oil painting, love India and Morroccan interior design...my apt is covered in it...(India is my fave place, besides Egypt of course), I have way too many books (and yet I buy more...?), someday, I hope to travel and find the most unusual places in the world...interesting goal, eh?? (with someone by my side, of course...whether it be best friend or husband(though they are the same), i dont care...as long as im happy and have great pictures to remember it by ;)
ANYTHING is great, but I love classical music (orchestral and opera) and artists like Sarah Brightman, Loreena McKennit, Andrew Lloyd Webber, etc...but all music is tolerable to me (raw emotion) (except yodeling...agh! CRAZY people...) I write "classical-crossover" type music...a more modernized yet orchestrated music...LOVE IT...eventually (when i get the right software) I will post some of it...(but I love singing, just about anything...depends on the mood..im very animated..LOL) This is an invigorating quote:
"It is sometimes said that the tragedy of an artist's life is that he cannot realize his ideal. But the true tragedy that dogs the steps of most artists is that they realize their ideal too absolutely. For when the ideal is realized, it is robbed of its wonder and its mystery, and becomes simply a new starting-point for an ideal that is other than itself. This is the reason why
music is the perfect type of art.".....although I think this pertains to all avenues of art.
Movies
Did I mention I have wayyyyyy too many movies??? I collect Disney, so those are my favorites. ADAM SANDLER. enough said... !LOVE Classics! (our gang, shirley temple, marilyn, gidget, liz taylor, etc) Other than that, I like weird comedy (Mel Brooks stuff, Mafia, Kung Pow, etc...) and I love a good Thriller/suspense/horror movie.. (stephen king, or a good psychological), I also collect any movies I find that I watched as a kid and loved (80's stuff especially)
You are LaFawnduh. Why are you so sweaty?
Wish I had the time =)

Books
Ohhh Jeeezz.....ok, here we go. My top Authors are: Christian Jacq, Zahi Hawass, Julia Quinn, Catherine Coulter, Nora Roberts, Brenda Joyce, Johanna Lindsey, Bonnie Vanak, Lisa Kleypas, etc...coffee table/picture books/art collections/antique-vintage
Heroes
Of course I have to say parents, my sisters, Steve Irwin, Princess Diana,Marilyn Monroe, Sarah Brightman, but also anyone who really wanted something bad enough, pursued it, and was successful is a hero to me...I don't like people without goals in life...I also believe that those who have dealt with something tragic or unthinkable and were able to "just keep swimmin" (As Ellen D. says) are heroes...they become stronger and smarter than the people around them. I also worship my family (sisters, cousins) because they are always constant in my life, and it leaves me speechless to watch them overcome life's obstacles with such stamina. I consider my closest friends heroes, as well as a part of my family...nothing is stronger than the bond of true friendship in any relationship.

"YOU dont know what you have until it's gone...the biggest mistake in love is giving up on your dreams...people can influence you so much that you can lose yourself and your values in life...don't let these people take you down that road, as it leads to self-destruction. Recognize the people who really care and cherish it- they will give you the world, rather than take it leaving you empty handed with regrets...only a fool thrives on the attentions of 'strangers'..." "Love, for many people, for the majority indeed, is not really love, but a mixture of the desire to love, and the desire to be loved, plus a willingness to do anything to show and evoke this sentiment, and consequently to be more comfortable in one's own interior life" -unknown (but i like!!)
Well, here goes! The new and improved about me! =) Where to begin...I am a very passionate person- I love life, music, interesting people, culture, animals, etc...I am living in Las Vegas at the moment, with a career as a model/artist/animal enthusiast/entrepreneur. Don't get me wrong, though...When I am not working crazy hours in crazy places, doing crazy things, I love normal. I love to relax, have a "home-base". I am a dreamer at their worst =) My head is always in the clouds, but I have a grasp on reality as well. I am very driven in my careers, they are definitely my life's art and enjoyment. I'm a very fast learner, especially in life experiences. I love music, played numerous instruments growing up, and still play my piano and sing from time to time. I love to perform and be on stage, I have no fear or shame...haha. I have practiced and studied eclectic dance (turkish and egyptian bellydance) on my own for a number of years now, and hope to pursue traditional dance again as well. If not the performing/visual arts in the modern aspect, I would love to pursue my love of history and historical art/culture. If my career goes where I want it to, I would thrive on financing expeditions (and taking part in) throughout Egypt. Another personal goal in that aspect would also be to help/continue with, or under, Zahi Hawass in restoring and returning Egyptian antiquities to the home land and museum. (www.drzahihawass.com for more info...its really neat!)
Anyways, on with the "about me"....I have moved all over the USA, my father is a city planner...so I have been to a lot of interesting places, seen more than a lot of people my age. My life's ambitions are family/love(humor!!), financial stability, and culture! =) Speaking of age, I have a habit of dating and seeing people older than myself (my max is 15 years older...lol)...I like people who are aware of the world and life; know what they want, how to get it, and achieve personal satisfaction/ contenment! Places I enjoy are Ultralounges or chill bars where I can have my martini, relax and enjoy my company. Clubs on occaision are fun, but the crowds of tourists grabbing my butt dont really thrill me. I love Arabic/Hookah lounges ...anything eclectic or different will spark my interest. I love going to Operas, musicals, shows...I am a big fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber/Sarah Brightman. Anything with fine art inspires me...I love to paint with oils (when I have the time), draw with charcoal, design clothes/accessories, etc... I am a genuinely happy person (most of the time), I love my friends, my 3 doggies (a Great Dane, Shih-tzu, and Maltese--they are my kids!)I try to give positive energy =) I believe in karma, as well as various other spiritual and religious beliefs, but claim no religion alone (even though I was raised Catholic). I am a romantic by far, but my grasp on realism is there as well. I just prefer to be the intimate thinker. =) xoxo
"Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find their way by moonlight, and punishment is that I see the dawn before the rest of the world."
Men See You As Choosy
Men notice you light years before you notice them
You take a selective approach to dating, and you can afford to be picky
You aren't looking for a quick flirt - but a memorable encounter
It may take men a while to ask you out, but it's worth the wait
My soul mate, people who have accomplished aspects of their dreams, artists/musicians/poets, models/photographers/designers/MUA's, animal lovers, anyone with something to say =)
ALSO, people have asked me where I have lived...weird how I just found someone I knew in 4th grade...haha! I would love to find more people, it can be so interesting!!! SO, here are the places I have lived and places I have attended school in case they happen to find me on this insane site...lol:
***Born in Memphis, Tennessee (although I doubt anyone knows me...moved when I was 2...however my sisters knew some people!)
***Jacksonville, Florida (Learning Tree! preschool...hah!) I cant seem to find Erin Gregory...lost touch with her many years ago =(

***Kenner/Metairie, Louisiana (Grace King High, graduated '02, Delgado college) Once again, lived in multiple houses...lol...loved being only 10 mins from New Orleans, the historical value is what made me love this place so much - besides having some wonderful friends of course..heh. Always wanted to get married in the St Louis Cathedral, gorgeous!! Look here- http://www.neworleanschurches.com/stlouiscath/stlouiscath.htm
***Fort Myers, Florida (Edison college/A.A. degree) Wonderful people here, lived in my first "own" space, got my Great Dane and Shih Tzu- really helped to refuel my passion for animals (dogs and horses especially). From far away; There is a hidden place where I can see Her smile and feel Her heart. From far away; There is a woman that makes me smile, makes me laugh, and sometimes cry, but she makes me feel alive. From far away; There is a stranger that reminds me someone that I met once, somewhere in another time or another life. From far away; i see Her, but i can't reach Her. From far away; i wish to meet Her one day.
In Hawai'i, we place a "Lei", or Flower Garland, around the neck of a Visitor, returning Friend, or Lover. May we offer you some flowers from our gardens, as an imaginary Lei to welcome you...
