About me:

I am the proud mother of a five year old amazing little boy Jacob Reid Mantooth, who has his own website that everyone should visit www.forjakessake.net. He is my life, along with the rest of my family. I am also the Group Leader for the East TN Mito Support Group for United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation - UMDF. (www.umdf.org) I try to promote awareness for this foundation because Jacob along with many other children and adults suffer from mitochondrial disorders. A mito disorder affects a persons ability to produce energy for their body to perform properly. It can be mild and tolerable for some and unfortunately terminal for others. I also have 2 nephews, Tyler and Bradley Chase Goodwin - and 2 nieces, Molly Duckett and Gracie Goodwin that I love with all my heart. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love taking Jacob out everywhere, its amazing watching his eyes light up and then watchin him show you a toothy grin. (Minus the two he recently knocked loose!)- Strike that they are growing back, now he is missing his front tooth! Going places is much harder to do now considering, but he loves it, and its worth it. We try not to miss any ballgame or pageant. Jacob is there to support his cousins as much as possible. I am a very driven person, sometimes to a fault. I love the fall and spring, there is nothing like the changing of seasons. I like sports. I love SEC football - "GO VOLS". I also like the Titans and the Colts, football in general I suppose. I like watching UFC fights. I love traveling & vacations, the mountains, beach and the lake. I like wildflowers, dragonflies & ladybugs - :0) What can I say I am a country girl at heart. How can you not be and grow up in "RheaCo". LOL!!!
