My mother. More through her courage even than in her words, she taught me the importance of capitalizing on mental and emotional strength. Whether you're facing adversity, pursuing what you want, or simply keeping what you have.
Creating new music, and entertaining isn't just a passion for Kristi Miller, it is in her genetic makeup. Born and raised in the hills of Kentucky, Kristi was a natural performer as a child, and that love has only grown as she has made her way into adulthood.
Growing up Kristi had a father who was an avid record collector and accomplished songwriter in Gospel music who helped light a fire for Kristi in developing herself as an artist. Her mother sang in church and helped Kristi on vocal coaching and learning to play guitar. Having parents who were supportive gave Kristi the backing she needed to create her own style, and learn the fundamentals of becoming who she is.
When Kristi finally made strong gains in the music industry and was so close to achieving her dreams, tragedy struck. Her mother grew very ill. Kristi had to put her dreams on hold, and care for her mom who slowly got worse. She passed away when Kristi was only 19. Again her dreams were put on hold as she chose to stay in Kentucky and run the family business, a Christian Paper, The Seeker. Kristi worked during the day, and made the long drive to Nashville around 4 times a week just to try and follow her dreams. She works travels and performs sometimes putting in over 100 hours a week. As you can see by listening to her sound, you can see that Kristi's hard work and dedication has finally paid off, and nothing has stopped her from following her dreams.

Hello Kristi! Happy weekend! I give you a better phrase, an embarrassing and disarming simplicity: "What is the first duty of man? The answer is short: to be himself" (Henrik Ibsen). An affectionate hug and a kiss from Italy! Michele
I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
