Kristina Casolani has been in the Maltese music scene since the year 2000 . Her career started when she met with her producer/co. writer Boris Cezek. They started working on her original material and they’ve been working together ever since. She has released six singles to date and they have been very well received by both listeners and DJ’s and have all reached top positions on the local Radio charts.
Kristina has participated in various prestigious events both locally and abroad. To name a few: The Bay Music Awards, as a Guest performer at The Song for Europe Festival, The Urban Music Festival, Musicmania, the EU Accession party, Farsons Beer Festival, as a guest Performer at YADA’S production ‘Strait Street’ , Xfm Music Festival and others. She also performed at Madame Jojo’s (Popshow party) in London last August 2006. Her music has also been played in the most popular clubs in the UK such as: Tantra, Movida, Pangaea, Aura, Chinawhite, Sin, Branigans, Bar Risa, and others.
While residing in the UK Kristina collaborated together with Diane Charlemagne (Of Urban Cookie Collective, Moby, Goldie fame etc.) and sang backing vocals on the song “Moving too fast” of Supafly Inc. It was released last summer and reached the number ten spot in the UK charts.
Kristina has been studying Dance at the College of Jazz Dance (YADA) for the last twelve years. This gave her an edge in her live performances as she started to combine both of her talents. She started using her own dancers and custom made choreographies, in her live performances which made her shows look much more colourful.
Apart from writing the lyrics to her songs, Kristina also actively participates in the writing of the melodies and the creation of the music. Song writing is as much of a passion as performing is to her. It gives her great satisfaction.
Kristina was also very lucky to meet John Legend and Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles, resulting in a meeting at the end of last year with the A&R Manager of SonyBmg at their main office in Fulham London. The meeting was very successful! They loved her live performance and fresh sound. SonyBmg and Kristina Casolani are going through further negotiations at present.
Having become a household name in Malta, Kristina wanted to make her presence felt also within the clubbing scene, this currently enjoying great popularity in Malta. In order to do this she has started a collaboration with Toby working on Electro house music. Apart from this project she is also collaborating with David Leguesse (Sixth Simfoni), working on some Hip hop tracks.
Her voice can also be heard on a daily basis as she sings on various adverts aired on Maltese radio and TV stations. To mention a few, she has appeared on the Hot Couture Ad, the Cannon Ad, and others.
Currently however Kristina has finished working on her long-awaited album and has also started working on her next album.

Well here's the ordinary routine - all the same with the only difference that my teachers are on a strike and there's no school. Never mind - everythings's ok :). Unfortunately I'm not able to come to Malta this year but I plan to do so somewhere around July or August and I hope to see you in one of your gigs. :) ~Stiliyan
Happy birthday! I hope you continue with the nice songs :). How's it going? I also wanted to ask you if those songs you have made are gathered in an album? And if they are - how is it called? Hope to hearing from you soon. :) ~Stiliyan~
Well I like them all but there are some which I like more:"Away From You", "Bad Vibe", "Search", "Don't Call", "Betrayed", "We'll Meet Again" and "Wanna B Me"... Sorry for listing too many songs but what can I do when I like them? hehe - But my favourite is "Away From You" - maybe because it's the first song that I heard from you :). Also I wanted to ask you how much is the entrance fee for one of your gigs and where do you make them? ~Stiliyan~ :)
Thank you very much for the link! I really enjoyed those songs! Really fresh! :) How's it going in Malta right now? I heard that it was quite rainy a couple of days ago... And - keep it up! :) ~Stiliyan~
I'm really looking forward to coming back to Malta. Maybe next summer (I'll purchase the album as soon as I arrive hehe) :). The songs on the Kinnie site were "Away From You" and "Don't Call" which I really enjoy listening. Now I'm opening the site just to listen them :). ~Stiliyan~
Hi. I just wanted to tell you that the music you perform is really awesome. :) While I was in Malta I really enjoyed Kinnie and decided to look for it in internet... And guess what... You have 2 songs their which I really really liked. Now as I returned to my home country I searched all the music shops but alas there's nothing there. :( Hope that you continue with the great music!
