Daughter of legendary guitarist Jerry Donahue, granddaughter of the late 1940s/50s Big Band leader Sam Donahue and TV and film actress, Patricia Donahue, and niece of the late Marc Donahue, Kristina is a natural talent; singing and dancing before she could walk or talk. She made her rock and roll debut at the Fairport Convention Cropredy Festival in 1999 singing to an audience of more than 20,000 people. She was invited back the following year, performing a full set for both nights of the festival which garnered rave reviews from MOJO Magazine for her stage presence and versatility as a vocalist. "(She made) an immediate impression over the loudest band of the weekend, seemingly un-intimidated by such an extraordinarily difficult song or backing that bore the might of musical history."
Kristina has spent the past two years performing in various cover and original bands all over Los Angeles and has recently focused on a UK based Folk Rock project called, The Gathering and her solo project, drawing upon the style of such musical influences as Robert Plant, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, Sublime, and Sheryl Crow, to name only a few, creating a unique synergy for her avid audience all while weaving her dark vocal timbre and earthy graciousness to lull the listener and captivate and audience of 25 or 25,000.

Hi Kristina, Thanks for finding me! I have had the good fortune to perform with one of your dad's fellow Hellecasters, a certain Mr. Will Ray. Love the tunes here! I'll be back! Let me know if you play the bay area. Cheers! -Joey

I had to look and listen all over again. Yep, I'm definitely in love! lol
Alright, it is like this. As a lifelong telecaster disciple, Jerry Donahue has been one of my absolute favorite guitarists and biggest influences for about 15 of my 29 years on this planet. In fact people point it out all the time, as I do a lot of behind the nut bends and stuff. ANYWAY, sadly I never even knew JD had a daughter, until I added him on myspace and saw Kristina's link on his page. Of course curiosity made me check it out. From the first notes of the first song I was hooked. I scrolled down and checked out this entire page as all of the songs played and I was spellbound by the whole thing, the lyrics, the overall production, and especially her voice. (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it when she says, "My mom is gonna be PISSED!" lol) After, and ONLY after the songs finished playing, I checked out the pics. All I can say is MY DEAR LORD! I think I am in love with this girl! And that was before I even saw the pics! LOL
