Music
if it involves bagpipes, oboes and/or accordians, then it is good.
Movies
i can watch "mccabe and mrs. miller" over and over and never get bored. incidently, it may have the best soundtrack ever. . . god bless you leonard cohen. "2 days in paris" is hands down the funniest movie i've ever seen. if you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and fire it up in your queue stat. julie delpy = genius. adam goldberg = brilliant. the two together = near perfection.

I'm enjoying the snapshots. I particularly like the way you confine the images into smaller space, carving the captured image away from its larger body, creating an effect that is at once claustrophobic and also open and expansive, as space is given to the imagination to build out the larger object from which the captured body is taken. I'm also enjoying the colors, which have a similarly unfished feel, as if they used to be colors, like reflections used to be people or things, before the light reflected off of them, then off the glass or mirror--In these snapshots, I never see a blue; rather, I see the ghost of a blue, which was once sky, or water; or a wraith-like gray, which was once steel or concrete; or a cloud of brown, which was once solid, sustaining earth.
