Time will pass like the grains of sand gently caressing over the desert floor. the dunes sing melodies quiet and sweet while the sun burns everything it sees. there are miracles in this place that have never been sung before. it is not the survival of the fittest but the cactus flower that speaks of love and hope and eternity beyond adversity. there are only so many words in the dictionary so i'm told. and yes all poets have used them before. their words like whores they can't get enough. but the arrangement of those words are the sublime. they are the words that tell you you were mine.
