i like hooking (crocheting), using needles (knitting), riding around on my own gas (bikes).
i like looking at knitting patterns and sitting in yarn shops touching everything. This is perhaps the most sexy thing about me. That or the fact that my cat once peed on me in bed.
I also like picking up on gay men. Or at least, it seems that when I try to pick up on men, they are gay or turn gay shortly after. Like Pete's boyfriend Nick. I picked up on him once, and in front of Pete. (I'm glad you two found that so funny. It was hysterical.)
I also seem to have a great deal of luck picking up on hot lesbians like Jenny Shimizu who are way out of my league. And by "picking up on hot lesbians like Jenny Shimizu," I mean I am very good at screaming, pointing, and hiding in the bathroom for the night until my friend Marcus manages to coax me back into society.

About me:
I am an artist who identifies as a solo performer, writer, actor and whatever other crap I can half ass. I live in West LA with my cat but am on tour almost half the year. Lately, I've been spending a lot of time in NYC. I thought that when I moved to LA, I'd be a Hollywood rat like everyone else out here, but for some reason have found myself making a good living as a fringe artist. It's weird. Even when I try to sell out and do more commercial work, I find myself making an easier living doing something that's more fun, more progressive, and more me. I am very lucky. I get to work from home and write travel columns in my PJs. Spend the work day with my cat. Show my work in amazing places. My friends are inspiring and hilarious. And most importantly, I get to be true to myself every day.
I am absolutely blessed.
I freelance write for various anthologies and for magazines like Playgirl. Lecture at schools about being a badass. And I put on these nutty shows where I knit and scream about being crazy. I just finished an "artist-in-residence" project from the City of LA where I taught performance and writing workshops for adult women of color on Saturdays. It's kind of like running adult playtime and I am the Lord of the Flies.
