Kristin Cifelli's long awaited follow-up to her 2004 album, "So Long My Love" is sure to get the attention of folks from hipsters to hippies, with its earthy, yet modern sound. On the new release, entitled 'Middle of Nowhere", her voice soothes and soars over lush electric guitar sounds and organic beats with lyrics that hit home. Her unforgettable voice, at times soothing and at times full of intense energy, has become a favorite amongst music fans up and down the East Coast. Her second release, So Long My Love, brought her increased notoriety, with a Nomination for Best Album and a win for Best Song ("Show Them") in the Independent Music Awards in 2006... .. Early in 2002, Kristin Cifelli contributed her song, "Martyr", on the Sony/Heavy Rotation Records compilation, Shekinah 13 Artists, which celebrates the diverse female alumni of Berklee College of Music. The compilation is being distributed by Sony/Epic Records, with part of the proceeds going to help young artists at Berklee College of Music. Kristin's dynamic track features background vocals by one of the music industry's top selling artists, Brad Delp (lead singer of Boston), who has become a supportive fan of hers saying, "…I think there's no justice if she doesn't become really successful…"-Berklee Groove. Upon the release of Shekinah 13 Artists, Kristin was featured on the Oxygen Network's Daily Remix, VH1's Jump Start, Billboard Magazine, Boston Globe and the Associated Press... .. Currently based in the Boston area, Kristin has enchanted audiences throughout the East Coast. She's performed at such renowned clubs as The Paradise Rock Club in Boston, The Iron Horse in Northampton, MA, the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge, MA, the historical music club The Bitter End in Greenwich Village, NYC and CBGB's Gallery in NYC. She's shared the stage with such acts as Jeffrey Gaines, Brooks Williams, Brad Delp, and The Pushstars. She is currently at work on her 3rd album, produced by Ethan Mentzer, of The Click Five.
