I am a girl from Kalispell, Montana...the most amazing place on earth. I had horrible stage fright my whole life until I taught myself to play the guitar as a teenager and I had something to hide behind. Then I started to write my own songs and my life really changed. Writing helped me through some of the hardest times of my life, and I am thankful every day that I have a way to articulate what I truly feel needs to be said to rest my mind.
I live in Nashville now, and I have a great band that I absolutely love like brothers. Playing with my band makes me happier than almost anything, they are all truly amazing musicians and friends and there is nothing better on this planet than being on stage singing and playing my heart out with them! Over the last few years I have got to play with bands and artists that humbled and amazed me and I learned from all of them. It can be up and down, but I am so thankful that I have had a chance to give this business of music a ride. It can be disappointing, and cruel....but at the same time I have never had more fun in my whole life.

Oh Kristi, you are awesome. My fav song is "Bound". my favorite line and the one I am trying to "grasp" for my own life is "conditional contentment." Wow what powerful words. My happiness, it seems, has always been dependent on my surroundings, whether its physical or people or the weather even. Keep up the good work.
