In the early years Kristin would put on concerts for family and friends around a barbeque blaze in a small town where she grew up in Iowa. From then on her songs have been shaped through life experiences, love, loss, joy, social, political events and the birth of her daughter. Through her quirky yet heartfelt lyrics and strong melodies you will find yourself in a new place of understanding.
In the last 3 1/2 years before moving the windy city of Chicago, she had lived in Alabama where she stretched her talents from Birmingham to Atlanta. She has performed at places like Eddies Attic Monday night competition. She was selected and then sent through to the second round of "Open Mic Maddness" at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta GA. She was asked to perform at Zannie Theatre on Ft. McLellan among local singer/songwriters with featuring touring acts such as "Michael Warren" and "Jen Woodhouse". She has been showcased on the local tv station "TV24" based in Jacksonville Al. She has also done session singing for the touring band "McPherson Struts".
Often compared to the likes of Chrissy Hynde's strength, Gwen Stefani's quirkiness and brave girl attitude, and the soft sound and insightful views of Jewel, Kristin has a signature all her own with her unique voice and her pick/strum twist guitar playing personality, she has a lot to say and offer.
Kristin is a self taught singer/songwriter/gutiarist, although in a few recent years while living in New Jersey, Kristin has had some vocal and performance coaching under Jody Joseph, cousin to the famous "Bon Jovi" and front woman to "Jody Joseph and the Average Joes" who she was acquainted with by her singer/songwriter friend Eryn Shewell an upcoming solo artist Kristin collaborated songs with, one called "I Want You For Breakfast", which is on Eryn's rockin debut album already for purchase which you can listen to at www.myspace.com/erynmusic

Heck yeah girlie I freaking LOVED that video! I mean I think all of your videos are good but that one it's just great I don't know how to explain it...it's kinda like going to pay your car insurance and find out that you over paid over a period of a few months and come to find out you don't need to make a payment this month and you have that espression of "oh my God are you SERIOUS!? WOW!" LOL that's a true story and that video for me was like that..I believe you went higher than Mariah Carey lol you did WAY better than her! I've had LOTS of bands and artists send me friend's request and I've accepted them all but I deleted them all too except your's and a couple others. Martha and I both consider ourselves to be music enthusiasts..as for me I go by every little detail and if you don't meet my little requirements then I delete...I go by the passion of what you're doing really and you deffinately got it. You're talented musician type to me not a wannabe like all the people I deleted and anyone can tell when they see or hear you sing that you have a real drive for what you do and that's what I like most. You have to enjoy what you do and put feeling into it, really feel it for me to like it...that's how I am...if you love how you play and what you're playing then that's gonna reflect on me and make me love it lol talk about ramble on! Have fun and be safe in Iowa hun! We have to work tommorrow but we get off at 5 so it's not that bad but we still should all have tommorrow, christmas eve and day off...that's how I feel.
