I began singing from the age of four years old, but proceeded to pursue athletics instead. I played softball during elementary school and then took up cheerleading in middle school. Cheerleading continued through my freshman year in high school where I was a member of both the Junior Varsity football cheerleading squad and the Varsity competition squad. Becoming extremely disenchanted with the affair, I decided to tryout for the volleyball team. I was a member of the Varsity team during my sophomore, junior, and senior year. Over the three years, I received honorable mention (sophomore), first team all-county (junior, senior), team MVP (junior, senior), player of the year (senior), and was a member of the Georgia All-Star volleyball team (senior). While in between high school seasons, I participated in the Junior Olympic Volleyball program. My senior year ended with me receiving a volleyball scholarship to Valdosta State University. I started as a defense specialist as a freshman. After the 2001 season, I moved back to Atlanta and worked. In July of 2002, I decided to pick up the guitar. In August, I went to Georgia Southern University and played volleyball there for two years. Getting no where with my music, I decided to move back to Atlanta and try to do something. Once I got back, I started playing at local open mic venues and began to receive offers for shows. In 2005, I played my first solo show and have been playing frequently since then. Over the years, I have written several songs and in November of 2005, I decided to professionally record a few of them. After almost a year, the project is finally complete. Hope you all enjoy!!

Kirstin, I received Your amazing and most beautiful CD, "Cry Out To The Night", on Saturday, and have listened to it numerous times and each time I do I come away feeling fantastic.
Sorry it took so long to acknowledge the receipt of this CD, but I have been sick for one week, threw out my back last Thursday and also developed a stomach issue, which I do think was stress related over my brother Mike and daughter Dana, as my brother is terminal with cancer and Dan has been through a horrible divorce.
However Your CD has helped me so much, as music is a healer.
Your voice is just stellar and so special and unique, and the music has really reached me.
Thanks again for sending it to me as I more than appreciate it.

I leave tomorrow morning early for Denver and will be gone until Tuesday, as I nned to spend some time with my brother Mike who is terminal with cancer & MS, so I will be absent from My Space for several days.

Hello! I hope you’re doing fine. I am having so much fun rehearsing some new tunes for the show on Friday night. In case I haven’t already bugged the crap out of you about it I will be getting down with an old friend this Friday night at Montana’s Bar & Grill (2995 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta GA 30062) I’ll be sharing the bill with my friend Jeremy Fotie’s band from Boston “Jo Henley”. Jeremy and I had so much fun playing in a project with the talented Rev. Eric Gant about a year ago. I haven’t seen him since he headed back home to Boston. If you get a chance please come out and check out the show. Music starts around 8:00 pm. This is truly gonna be a night to remember.
