About me:
I'm a very open-minded, spontaneous individual. I tend to be somewhat of a dare devil at times, too. I'll usually try anything at least once. In February of 2007, I got medically discharged from the United States Air Force because I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and hypermobile joints-- Scratch that-- I DON'T SUFFER FROM ANYTHING, I'VE MADE MYSELF AS STRONG AS I HUMANLY CAN (two boot camp experiences will do that to ya). I am now in the UNITED STATES NAVY. I DEP'd in on September 14th, the beginning of the greatest adventure of my life. My rate is E-1, Engineman (EN). I am in the Navy National Call of Service (NCS- 15mo active, 4 years reservist). After I become a Naval Reservist, I plan to attend Madison Area Technical College, a two year program in the Liberal Arts Transfer Program, then transferring to a four year university, most likely at home (UW Madison). I plan to major in criminal justice or engineering. Two things that interest me the most in life. The military isn't for everyone, in fact, 1% of the United States population is enlisted. For that 1%, there 99.9% of the time, there's nothing we'd rather be doing, nowhere we'd rather be. It really is like a second family, such a phenomenal team. Right now, I am stationed at Great Lakes Naval Station in the Chicago land area, attending A-School to become one of the Navy's many kickass enginemen... That's 14 weeks of schooling, then I don't know where I'm going as of this moment in time. The Air Force's core values are; INTEGRITY, SERVICE BEFORE SELF AND EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO. The Navy's core values are; HONOR, COURAGE AND COMMENT. I now stand for all of the above. I am a firm believer in representing. I represent the Navy, I represent my country, and I represent my family and I represent my hometown. I used to change my Myspace layout all of the time but now that I am in the US Navy, I am very rarely at home. The Wisconsin Badgers layout represents my home and home is where my heart is. I consider myself to be extremely well rounded and I couldn't be happier for myself than I am right now.
I am very child-oriented. I love kids. Along with all of these random facts about me, I hate video games. I am the pickiest eater you will ever meet. I love traveling and doing things that most people aren’t lucky enough to experience once in their life. Such as, swimming with dolphins, being in the Air Force and the Navy, bungee jumping, surviving a horrible car accident, making more good friends that anyone can ever dream of, and growing up in an area where the only thing to do for fun is to bond with nature. Go camping, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, ANYTHING OUTSIDE. I feel so blessed to have not grown up in a big city. The best thing about it all is the fact that there is not a single star that you can’t gracefully watch as it glimmers and shines in the big, black, night sky. The fact that I can sit outside and appreciate the sounds of nature, the smell of the pine trees, mixed with the clean, fresh air is immaculate. I hate math and science and I love english and history. So the friends that I am closest to are known, my friends that I appreciate more than anything in life are: Kacie, Sara, Amber, Tommy, Amanda, Ginny, Erica and Steve.
