About me:

I'm Kristofor, a.k.a. Topher. I live in Des Moines, actually downtown Des Moines. The problem I have with describing myself is that I've found that many people describe me quite differently. I asked some people to be completely honest in their descriptions of me. Trust was gained for the responses by making it clear that I would not belittle responses, but rather I would only ask them to clarify points if I didn't understand. While responses I received had a wide gamut. The one which seemed the most appropriate was, that I am just Kristofor, I'm a little bit of everything and no one label accurately describes me. I try to be easy going and fun loving, but I know I'm not that way every day, nor would I want to be You could also say that I'm a dreamer or just a classic Sagittarius. There are moments where I move from one task to another really quickly. It is at those moments that I really appreciate those friends that ground me.
I try to keep an open mind about most things and I can usually find the good in everything (or I at least try to). Although I grew up in the midwest, I feel that my parents did a fairly good job with instilling a non-midwestern view of the world.
My day job keeps me training people on the current technology which is fine with me. Some friends let me know that I'm good at what I do since I have the patience to teach. I don't let everything fly, but when people are learning or when I'm trying to communicate things to people, I can make time for learning. My background is in graphic arts with an emphasis on print design. I'd like to get back into that field someday, but for now I'll stick to training, and work on developing some other creative talents.
