Now that I'm not reviewing bad books for Publishers Weekly anymore, I can try to read more for pleasure. The Corrections was the last great book I read. I've got a stack next to my bed that I haven't made a dent in yet though. In that stack: The Twilight of American Culture, Granta Book of the American Short Story, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, D.H. Lawrence, Haruki Murakami. We'll see how long it takes me to get to them all...
