I'm diggin working on K-ROCK. The music's awesome and this city's wicked!!
I need to update this page real sson and I'm DEFINATLEY gonna do it this week. But for now here's a quick rundown.
I started off my career in radio, went into TV and voice overs and now back to radio.
I love the immediacy of the medium and being able to interact with the listeners.
I'm not getting as many freaky callers as I thought I would in New York City. The stories I could tell from when I was doing a show back in Australia.
Some memorable phone calls from listeners
CALLER - "YEAH CAN YOU PLAY ME DOCTOR CASPER"
DAVE - "YOU MEAN ROCK THE CASBAH?"
CALLER - "NAH DOCTOR CASBAH."
DAVE - "HELLO K-ROCK"
CALLER - "YEAH DUDE HOW LONG YOU BEEN IN NEW YORK FOR"
DAVE - "GOING ON 3 MONTHS NOW"
CALLER - "WOW YOUR ENGLISH IS PRETTY GOOD FOR SOMEONE WHO HASN'T LIVED HERE THAT LONG"

Daaaaaaave! Where have you been young man? I was at the Pearl Jam show last week and of course Eddie Vedder kicked a$$. Classes are done and just waiting for scores...I don't know if I will have any hair or nails left by the time they get here though......
