KROMEANGELS is a collaboration of three of the leading producers of Trance music, Dino Psaras, Frederic Holyszewski and Shanti matkin.
Dino psaras (www.dinopsaras.com/www.myspace.com/dinopsarasmusic) started Dj'ing Acid house at the age of 15 years old, he soon went on Primal Scream's tour "screamadelica" with Paul oakenfold, Mark Moore. He then got into Trance music and started his first band "Ayahuasca", then "Cydonia", and since had numerous projects and collaborations with the likes of Tim schuldt, Avi Algranati and many more....
Frederic Holyszewski (www.deedrah.com/www.myspace.com/deedrah), aka " Dado" comes from a very musical background, he is a classically trained pianist. By the time he was 25 years old he started producing music under the name "Transwave", and these days his solo project is call "Deedrah".
Shanti Matkin www.myspace.com/shantimatkin, being Ricktam's (gms) younger brother got into Trance music at a very young age, he started Dj'ing in clubs in Amstercam at the age of 13 years old, and soon after he was on the line up for the Voov festival. Since Shanti has been playing all around the globe.
The trio previously worked together in the studio, and after making few tracks they decided to go one step ahead and write an album. KROMEANGELS was formed a couple of years ago, and the three masters performed their first live act in Brazil. The band has been highly acclaimed in Brazil and they are soon to go back there on tour...

Review : In difficult and dangerous times there is always a superhero behind a mask who comes to the rescue, for Gotham City it is Batman, for New York City it is Spiderman, for Psy Trance City it is Krome Angels. Dino Psaras, Frederic Dado Holyszewski and Shanti Matkin are the masterminds behind the Krome Angels project, the heroes behind the masks that managed to mix various electronic music styles (trance,techno,minimal just to name a few) in one disc while always retaining and respecting their psychedelic trance origins. Although this is a bright new project from the three highly respected producers and despite the fact that its way different from their past works and collaborations a well trained ear can spot on almost every track parts the individual touch of each one of them, the Dado melodies, the Dino baselines and Shanti’s powerful kicks are all there reminding us who is in charge. Krome Angels don’t stick to a specific formula and on each tune they explore various aspects of the electronic music scene but their main aim is clearly to make the people on the dancefloor move no matter what their personal music preferences might be, this is one of the reasons they collaborated with other great artists like Man With No Name, Domestic, Product 01 and Freemasons.
The production quality is second to none and Kevin Metcalfe did an exquisite job with the mastering here plus I must mention the great artwork and photography by Simon Ghahary (yes the Blue Room man) and Ricardo Camargo respectively. Do you believe in Angels?
Recommendation : A diverse album aimed not so much for the hardcore psy-trance fans but mostly for a wider audience and people that listen and experiment with various styles of electronic music and are always looking for something fresh to enrich their cd collection.
Favorite Tracks : Madison Square Garden, Kriskros Rythms, Exoplasm, Street Scum,Blast From The Past and Love On My Mind are the album highlights in my opinion.
