..In a day and time when being an Emcee has become a lost art form one man has emerged to lead a revolution. He is known as Kronic Plague and he is the total package. Born in Los Angeles, CA his passion for hip hop began at the early age of 8 years old. Not realizing that his love for hip hop would turn into a relentless drive to become the best thing hip hop has to offer he started out freestyling.. not because he realized that was the best way to hone his skill, but because he didn't know the words to the beats that constantly played in his head. Then one day, a close relative suggested that they write some songs "just for fun" He has not stopped writing songs since that day. After destroying cipher after cipher and entering and winning as many battles as he could he realized he was truly different. "I'm a hip hop fan before I am an artist," he shares. But he is no ordinary fan, he is a very harsh critic that critiques himself as hard as anyone. It is believed that this is the reason his music is consistently made at such a high level. The name Kronic Plague can be easily misunderstood, it has nothing to do with marijuana. Kronic Plague is a name that was created while he was in college at Louisiana State University, in simple terms, it simply means the illest. "its like a chronic cough, or chronic back spasms, but nothing is iller than the plague, except Kronic Plague," feel me, I just put a K on it because that's what nigaz called me growing up.. he explains. He is truly a master of his art form from freestyling, to battling, to storytelling, to concept songs, he does it all and he does it all well.
