Kr'uppt formed in the early 90's and began its assault on the Inland Empire in Southern California. By early 92 a quality 6 song EP was released. With good media attention and a growing local fan base, Kr'uppt grew into one of the premier bands in the region. In early 94 Kr'uppt went back into the studio to record 4 new songs to compile with the 92 EP and release it's first full length CD (Within the Asylum). By this time although we had a quality product to shop, grunge had taken a major strong hold on the industry and we were forced to shop our music in Europe where the metal scene was still in full force. Within only a few months Kr'uppt was growing into a bonafied force in the European metal scene, with such accomplishments as: Named in the top 10 albums of the year by Studio Brussel Metalopolis along side bands like Korn and Danzig, Scored 85 out of a 100 in The Aardshok magazine beating out bands like Megadeth and Testament, 8 out of 10 points in Rock Hard magazine, Massive radio and magazine exposer all over the World and here at home headlining the Whiskey and The San Benardino Arena. In early 96 we signed a 5 year 3 album deal with Milestone Entertainment Group in Germany and by early 97 we had a International label release(The Spunion Field) and a European promotional tour. With everything in place Kr'uppt was poised and ready for massive success when out of the blue Milestone filed for bankruptcy and our next album and European tour went up in smoke. At this point Kr'uppt took a hiatus and began the restructuring process and moved the band up to the Reno Nevada area with a new since of drive and determination and a restructured sound geared towards hard edged marketability. With the experience and longevity of the founding member in Mike Krupp (guitars) and new school vocals of Seth Walker, new Drummer Chris Erickson and new Bass player Tim Young, Kr'uppt is currently writing, recording, playing live, just having a good ol time.

This is possibly the end of Burning Wtihin. BW is scheduled for one more show. After this show the guys are going on hiadous possibly never to return (or at least not in its current form). The above show is going to be the final blow out bash. All friends and fans of BW need to show up and show their support for the guys. Let's show Reno how to throw down one more time!
This is what music is all about! As Guns 'n Roses guitar player Slash famously quipped: "Whenever society gets too stifling and the rules get too complex, there's some sort of musical explosion. "
