Benmore blues band is winner of the 2009 Oklahoma Blues Society local Interational Blues Challenge! Thanks for all the support. We appreciate the judges who gave of their time and effort as well as OBS members who attended and cheered us on. We will represent Okla. City in Memphis January 10, 2010 and play our hearts out. For those of you planning to attend, see you there. For you unfortunate ones, see you when we get back. We'll tell you all about it. Special thanks to Joann and appreciate Peggy and Jim for manning our cameras. Pictures of Sunday's event have been posted in our photos.
Thanks for the friend request -- we have live acoustic music seven (7) nights /week. Mon - Fri it starts at 6:30 downstairs, followed by another act at 9:30 upstairs. Saturdays we have one act upstairs at 10:00 (and sometimes an opening act downstairs at 6 or 7). Sunday we have one act upstairs at 9:30. NEVER A COVER ! We have a number of artists who play blues music (JD Thompson, Scott Keeton, Dan Danger, Mike Hosty, and others). As far as an acoustic blues jam, we don't have that right now -- we ocasionally have open mic nights on the last Sunday of each month. We might consider doing a jam night if there was interest for it. Thanks again and hope you visit us again soon !!
