About me:

"I believe that people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and that true love never dies."

So, what else do I believe in?

I believe in science and imagination.  I believe whole-heartedly in love, and I believe just as solidly in hate - it's all part of the continuum of human emotion; it's all part of being human.  I neither believe nor disbelieve in god, but I do believe in religion.  I believe in magic.  I believe in karma and superstition.  I don't believe in regrets.  I believe in squeezing enjoyment out of everything you can.  I believe that sorrow can bring a type of joy for some people.  I believe that poetry must be spontaneous to be beautiful.  I believe that the government is too involved in our lives.  I believe in personal responsibility and freedom of choice.  I believe in the curative properties of the rain.  I believe that we're all the same, and that just because pain is inevitable doesn't mean that it won't hurt.  I believe that logic and wisdom go out the window when love walks in the door, and that's the way it's supposed to be.  I believe in intuition, especially retrospective intuition.  I believe that gods and angels, fairies and unicorns, ghosts and demons, exist in our hearts and that if we believe that they're real, then, in effect, they are.  I believe in the tangible and intangible joys of music and literature.  I believe in the written word.  I believe that part of me will live forever, but I don't believe in an afterlife.  I might believe in reincarnation.  I believe in myself, and I believe in fate.  I believe in Mother Nature.  I believe in laughter, I believe in fears, I believe in wisdom, and I believe in happiness.  I believe in life.

Rocketing Gas Prices:: I used to not think it was too bad...but now it's just ridiculous!
