In Spring 2004, I composed my first melody, and I found composing to be quite a fun hobby. So I downloaded a basic freeware program and composed about 10 songs. In Autumn 2005, I managed to get Project 5, and I converted some of my songs into MP3s, some of which are on this site.
I've grown up with some eclectic listening habits over the years. Originally I grew up with my siblings listening to hip hop and RnB, as well as listening to the radio constantly, which introduced me to synthpop and pop. Over the years, rock, dnb, dance, techno, jazz, soul, indie, punk, ska, trip hop, some metal, some classical, and prog rock have also joined my musical tastes. As a result, I draw inspirations from many of the songs I listen to (and trust me, there are a lot).
My musical style has changed as well. I started off composing experimental songs, but then I moved to dance/electronica, and now they are taking more of a synthpop orientation. At the moment, I'm trying to juggle schoolwork with working on songs, so things are taking longer than they should be, but if you're nice and patient, songs will come out in the future.
Oh, no, I know you said that, but I faintly remember you telling me about an application that could sign into both AIM and MSN. And it wasn't meebo [lol]

And collabing could work well if we do it like me and my friends do (not like music programs, we just make random noises and end up with a whole song... yeah, we're wierd :D) where we can like 'tag' each other by one of us making a little loop, then i introduce a new loop and save it as a wav so you can sample it, you use that and layer a new loop, and it could work like that. Kinda complicated though... hehe
Yeah I really need to figure out something to do with my MSN problem that I'm having ^_-* especially since summers up... if I had a way to mix AIM and MSN without downloading a separate program I would x]
And collabing would be sick but I dunno how we'd do it considering a) I only have the trial of FL Studio and b) You use project 5 :)
