KryptamistiK originally formed in 1998 when Mark (Skinz Markus) and Nickhan (NikzMan) began writing lyrics and freestyling.
This lead to many dodgy experiments in home production and recording, beginning with tapes and a half-broken karaoke machine.
Since then, many members have come and gone from the KryptamistiK crew, however, NikzMan and Skinz Markus have always remained at the core of the evolution process.
In 2005 J-Tron came along and lent is vast talent and skills to many of our tracks.
Over the last few years DJ Yagi has joined the crew and together they have been rocking shows all over and supporting the likes of Lyrics Born (US), Foreign Beggars (UK), Mystro (UK), The Apostles (US), Astronomy Class, Illzilla and Bliss N Eso. While their Debut EP 'The Peasant Uprising' has recieved critical acclaim from fans and street press, KryptamistiK are currently working on a follow up LP guaranteed to elevate.
KryptamistiK perform with live band Truth Serum @ Southbank.

The Lowdown are set to bring the house down at The Joynt once again Friday September 4. This a free entry event and judging from the last couple of shows TLD have done there you best arrive early and in the mood to groove. Music will kick off at 9 with Nicole Mcintyre doing a mellow set of acoustic tunes to ease you into the night. The Lowdown will take the stage around 10 and will be playing an extended set encompassing some new material, freestyles and improvised jams.
