Following the release of Kryptik's newest CD DeKrypted Vol. 1, a collection of rare, unreleased tracks and collabs, Kryptik and DJcubed present the newest addition to the F.T.I. Records family. This mysterious group has gone by the alias "Project Pianoman" for over a year working on a new sound to take the underground by surprise. We have gotten word that the time is now for this group to show its face and in true F.T.I. Records fashion we are throwing a huge party to welcome them. The true details of the group are still shrouded in secrecy and will only be revealed in time. The date is 10/31/09... The place is The Grindhouse!~ There is only a limited number of tickets for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see the birth of this great force, known from this point on as DV8.

*********IT'S ABOUT TIME FOR SOME UPDATES!!***********

Yes, it's been a while since the news section on this page has been updated, but that doesn't mean nothing has been going on. In fact, it's the exact opposite. So much shit has been going on that there just hasn't been enough time left in the day for Myspace, but it's about time we filled you all in.

BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING.

For instance:

1. DEKRYPTED VOL. 1

A collection of rare, unreleased material, and collabs will be available for purchase at this years Gathering of the Juggalos Aug. 6-9 in Illinois. The album features 23 tracks from 2006 through the present. The cd will also be available for purchase on FTIrecords.com shortly after the Gathering.

2. RETURN OF THE BEEF

Last summer the underground coalition known as the DRK engaged in war, a war that left the stomachs of many Darkan soldiers bloated and beaten. This August, the BURGERS ARE BACK, and they're bringing friends. (in the form of hot dogs.) Hamburger Hammerdown 2 takes place in Prospect CT on August 21st. The battle begins at high noon and doesn't end until midnight. 12 hours of live music. 15 bands and performers. 250 burgers. 250 hotdogs. 2 kegs. Games, raffles, and a shit load of shenanigans. Be there, or be hungry.

3. ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!

If you've been to any major Underground show or tour on the East Coast in the past four years, you've probably seen the same two artists destroying the stage at almost every one of them, whether it was opening for Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs, ICP, KMK, or whoever else might have happen to come around. This September it's time once again for these two to take the stage, or should we say stages, this time joining forces to completely crumble the very structure of each venue they step foot in. Kryptik and DJ Cubed will be hitting the road and teaming up with Fury to open four dates in four states on the D-12/Potluck "Dazed and Dirty" tour in September. Check the dates below and get your tickets while they last!!

4. MURDEROUS VERSES

That's right, it's finally going down. KRYPTIK has teamed up with 20 year hip hop veteran/producer (and friend) JACK BEAZLY to record his debut album; "Murderous Verses." This album has been in the works for quite some time, but shit doesn't always go as planned in this rap game. Actually, most of the time it doesn't go as planned. The idea has always been there, but the means to make it a reality was a constant struggle. Well that's all changed, now that Jack Beazly has come into the picture. Beazly will be engineering, mixing, and producing about 95% of the album. No more mixtapes, no more jacked beats, only JACK BEAZLY's beats and a small handful of other amazing producers will be providing the thump for this cd. The recording process has already begun a couple weeks ago, and we're about 4 tracks deep into this long awaited album. There is nothing but pure fire coming out of the studio, this project will be like nothing you've ever heard. The Venom mixtapes were fun, and Venom 3 will still come out while Murderous Verses is being recorded, but we had to take it to the next level for this album. That's why Kryptik went to Jack Beazly. The only man with enough experience to push him to the absolute highest level, as and provide the flawless production that this record has been waiting for in order to come to life. Here's a little Beazly history to read up on if you don't know Jack.

Jack Beazly: Biography

If you are unaware of this multi-talented artist, who recorded his first album at the tender age of 11yrs old, who, in addition, is a producer, song writer and MC then you don’t know JACK. If you consider yourself a real music industry insider and can’t see a truly dedicated and talented artist especially one who has 250 recorded songs, 16 albums and 2500 original tracks produced under his belt, then you really don’t know JACK. Jack Beazly, as a kid, knew he had a passion burning inside him that he needed to express. “I used to make homemade instruments and do shows for my grandparents in my living room.” He’s not like many rappers who don’t know the history of Hip-Hop. In fact, he says the song “Jam On It” by Nucleus introduced him to Hip-Hop and made him love it. At first he started out as a b-boy break dancing. After getting a whiff of NWA, Public Enemy, KRS One and Ghetto Boys, it was on from there. With a mixing board in hand, Beazly began stringing beats together on a tape so he could write lyrics to it. He then would free style to this tape and turned it into his first album. Beazly was so in love with his music that he willfully left when his mother told him to choose between living in her house or Hip-Hop. Like any other teenage boy, he chose his first love. That love kept him warm on those cold Connecticut nights sleeping in cars and trying to find shelter wherever possible. While other teens thought about prom, Beazly plotted his next meal - his hunger to be the music industry’s next great rapper - the greatest appetite to be fulfilled.Beazly has more than paid his dues with unfruitful works in fledgling groups and empty contracts from lots of talk labels (all talk, no $). The music industry took bites out of his inspiration, but as they threw the pieces on the ground, Beazly picked them up and ate only to spit it right back out on a microphone. Slaps in the face from the industry became lessons he pocketed and used as energy to keep moving forward. Jack Beazly narrates a movie for you; an autobiographical one, because Beazly only rhymes about his life, his own experiences. What ever he raps about, Jack Beazly has actually lived it. You won’t need a dictionary to understand the words he uses but you will need a HipHop heart to catch everything he spews out. Jack’s thick voice and ominous lyrics legitimize his claim to being a super MC and currently he is completing what may be the single of the decade – “RAPWORLD” featuring none other than 4-ize, recorded, mixed, and mastered at world famous Zone Studio in Atlanta (DTP, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Nelly, David Banner). First off, we're not gonna do what every other page does and start this shit with "Happy 4-20." If you're a stoner I'm sure you already have heard that a hundred times today, and since most of you smoke weed every other day of the year anyways, there's really no point. Birthdays wouldn't seem so special if we all gave each other presents every other day of the year, now would they? But none the less, hope you all smoked yourselves extra retarded today. Now on to some important sheeeeiiiiit!! Okay so if anyone out there is bored of just checking the Kryptik myspace page all the time, not saying you should stop, but we do have some new spots for you to check out. Myspace may have been one of the first but there's a lot of other cool sites out there dedicated to showcasing independent artists. One of the best of these sites strictly for musicians is Reverbnation.com. This site has everything a musician can possibly need to promote themselves and it makes it great for the fans to stay up to date on shit. It even packs everything into these "widgets" that can be placed anywhere, both by the artist and his/her fans. Check out Kryptik's Reverbnation widget below, and make sure to sign up for the mailing list or even better go to the page and join the street team! Feel free to grab the widget and post it anywhere your little heart desires.

The next big thing to hit the internet and spread like herpes at Mardi Gras is Twitter.com. This is for those of you who are extra lazy and don't even want to bother actually going to your favorite artist's myspace page or website. It's basically like text messaging, except on the internet, and it's completely free. All you have to do is go to the artist's twitter page once and choose to "follow" them. The artist can then send little one or two sentence messages to all of his/her "followers" whenever there's something important going on, such as a new show, new song, or album dropping, etc. This way you'll never miss a thing, even if you have a shitty computer or internet connection. You can even have the twitter messages sent to your mobile phone!! I put twitter right up there with bottled water. What the hell will they think of next? ***LEWN MUSIC AND GDP PRESENT: "CHAINS" The music Video***

It's always good to see a fellow artist accomplish something great, and this is no exception. Lewn music and G-Diggz Productions proudly present "Chains" the music video (ft. Kryptik.) from the title track of Lewn's upcoming LP. A lot of work went into this video, and FTI worked very closely with Lewn Music and GDP on it's creation and production. We want to thank everyone who was involved, from the artists, to the staff, to all the fans who came out for the filming, you are the ones who really made this video and the end result is amazing. This is the most professionally produced music video to come out of the CT Underground to date, and it is only Lewn's first. We can only imagine what he's got in store for the future!
