General
I am a student trying to finish my degree as a veterinary tech. I am married to my best friend in the entire world. My step kids are teenagers, and are amazing kids. They are funny, smart, creative, and just plain great kids. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross so that I may be saved. I have three goofy dogs, Beau, Bubba, and Bugsy Malone. The first two are Siberian Huskies, and the third is a Jack Russell. I am mostly a family person, whether that be my family, or my church family. I am not perfect, but I sure try my hardest to follow God.
Music
Christian rock, Classic rock, alternative, classical, R & B, and country. Jeremy Camp, Rebecca St. James, Gary Allan is my man. Love Joe Nichols, Norah, Jones, Blake Shelton, and Keith Urban as well. Most classic rock, The Fray, and a bunch of others. When I read, with is often, I love to read Dean Koontz most, then John Grisham, Tami Hoag, James Patterson, and many others, in no particular order.

Heroes
A hero. What is a hero? Is it someone who saves people's lives? Or is it a man who gets up for work, without fail, day in and day out, to provide for his loved ones? A man who works at home, and works at work, who helps his friends, his parents, his wife, and takes care of everyone he can, even if they aren't his responsibility? Is it a man who pays his mortgage, his child support, and makes sure that those around him, those he loves, are taken care of, no matter the cost to him? I believe that is the definition of a hero. In that case, my heroes are my husband, my two dads, my brothers, and my mom. People believe that heroes are born. Heroes are made. Through hard work, love, teaching, discipline, nurturing and kindness to our children. People forget about some parts of this, and don't do this anymore. Parents don't teach their kids. Praise God for those few heroes we have left in our world today.

Because of ONE MAN who doesn't even live in California, he lives in Oregon, the ACLU is now trying to tear down our national monuments.
