Hi Krystle, Thanks. The strings are all sampled. I'm using Garritan Personal Orchestra (very affordable) with Digital Performer on my Mac. It does take a lot of work to articulate them to make them sound good and I'm still learning those tricks all the time. At least it won't let me write outside the instruments range...
