I listen to everything from classical, to alternative, to rock and metal, to Goth and industrial. (I worked in the music industry - what do you expect!) And we have so many talented indie bands and musicians in the area that some nights it hard to pick. | | Movies | I've seen a lot of movies but my top favorites are still Casablanca, Chocolat and The Phantom of the Opera (although the Broadway show was 100% better.) | | Television | I don't watch too much TV, but when I do it's usually something on Bravo. | | Books | I read a lot, so there are too many to name. But I do still love the old Anne Rice books, The Alienist (very cool to learn about old NYC -and then go around the city and find the places mentioned in the book), The Great Gatsby, and Edgar Allan Poe. | | Heroes | My great grandmother - she defied everybody and was one courageous lady! |

About me:
I am a self-taught jeweler who has been dabbling in the art of jewelry making since I was a teenager. After nearly 10 years of full time marketing and public relations careers in the radio, music and entertainment business in New York City, I decided to pursue jewelry design full time thanks to the encouragement of friends and family. (Yes, I have a lot of stories I can share about what goes on behind the scenes - let's just say the music industry can be a pretty wild ride - and all those crazy stories you hear are more than true!) So in 1999, I left the concrete jungle of NYC, and moved to the sunny beaches of the Tampa Bay area where Kryzia Kreations was officially born.
When it comes to my jewelry, I like to create pieces that not only entice the wearer to really look at the design and investigate the detailed work that is involved, but also to handle it and discover its unique texture, personality and beauty. I specialize in hand-fabricating each piece mainly from sterling silver, using the traditional metalsmith techniques of cutting, soldering, texturing, reticulation, and engraving. Occasionally, I employ the use of various patinas to bring out the depth and details in some of the designs. 
To me, the greatest compliment is when someone incorporates one of my jewelry designs into their own unique style. To know that the piece is being worn, and that it puts a smile on someone's face whenever they wear it, makes me truly happy.
