I was born in a "town of wine": Zielona Gora, but I grew up in Gorzow in western Poland.
My father was a journalist and impressario and because of it my house was full of music all the time. We had as a guests many prominent musicians, mainly classical, but not only.
When I was 9 years old I started my music education on guitar because I'd noticed,that guys with guitars were more attractive for girls;)) I’ve played in many schoolbands on guitar and bass guitar as well. As a fifteen-years-old-kid for the first time I gave a concert in a prestigious festival (in Wroclaw,Poland).
In the age of seventeen I started education on upright-bass in a music school in Gorzow as a lerner of Mr.Jerzy Dutkiewicz. Then I played in many projects: jazz, pop, rock, soul and other streams.As a young musician I had a chance to play with many famous jazzmen in local jazzclub in my town.They often come there for workshops.
Being already a professional musician I've decided to start education at theJazz Institute of University in Zielona Gora in jazz doublebass as a student of Prof. Jacek Niedziela.
My favourite kind of music is acoustic jazz. I play many other styles of course like blues, latin, pop, rock and many others.
Recently I have been playing and recording with Mack Goldsbury And The Polish Connection feat. Reggie Moore, Frank Parker & Maciej Fortuna Quartet, Lena Ledoff Project, Ray Blue Quartet, PlaySense and many others.
