Sports:
Penn State - Great Season and Orange Bowl Victory - Never one of those Joe must go people. He can coach forever as far as I am concerned! All Philadelphia Pro Teams - Flyers, Eagles, Phillies, Sixers. Fishing and camping. Cooking.
Music of any kind.
Music
All hail Joe Pa !!!!
I love all kinds of music. Anything really. I have about 800 vinyl LPs and 2 or 3 hundred CDs. It's an addiction really. Anything from oldies like big bands and jazz to modern rock like Green day and System of Down. Right now I am back to basics with Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, and Johnny Cash. Weird combo I know. Allways a favorite is Jimmy Buffett. I have never seen him in concert but that IS on the top of my "Do Before I Die" list. I have even read his books. And last but not least the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan ... may he Rest In Peace!
And than there are the always classic (these have been with me for many years) ACDC, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, the "Motor City Madman" Ted Nugent, Kiss, Billy Idol, Gun and Roses, The Cult, Van Halen, ZZ Top ..... OK and I have to admit I have a thing for Madonna. OK so it is because we were born about a week apart.
Movies
Just saw I Am Legend and Black Book .... Both were awesome.
I watch movies all the time. But if I could only take 5 and a portable DVD to that desert island .... here we go .... "The Outlaw Josey Wales" (have to take Clint), "Casablanca" (need a classic and it's one of my all time favorites), "The Lord of The Rings - The Return Of The King" (my son Sean cut school and we saw the very first showing of this), "Blackhawk Down" (need some more action and Ill take the book too), and "Kelley's Heroes" (OK more Clint ... it might be a trend).
And some modern classics ... Almost Famous, Animal House, Slap Shot, Van Wilder, and Bond James Bond.
Tarantino ..... Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill I & II
Television
Summer watching .... Hell's Kitchen and BBC America's Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Gotta love that Gordon Ramsay!
Hot new show on SciFi .... Painkiller Jane
24, Jericho, Lost, Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica, Survivor, Boston Legal (Danny Crane), The Dresden Files, Lost and more Lost ... and oldies but goodies Hogan's Heroes, McHales's Navy, and Magnum PI
I really liked Day Break on ABC but the powers that be decided I should't watch it!
Books
I read whenever I can. Mainly military history. Political biographys. Fiction I tend to go for hisotic and action type stuff. Tom Clancy, James Michner, and Robert Ludlum ... I have read almost everything they have written. I wnt through a Hemigway stage a couple of years ago. And read almost everything he wrote. My favorites were "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "A Farewell To Arms". But honestly I read all kinds of stuff. And don't forget comics!

Heroes
It might sound strange but among my heroes are my 2 kids. Sean is 17 and will begin studying Enviromental Science at PSU in the fall. Katie is 13 going on 16. They are both good and smart kids. Making the best they can of a tough world to grow up in. Also all the great men and women serving our country. They deserve all the support this country can give them!
Just a guy trying to enjoy life to the fullest. Every moment as it comes. I love my kids. I spend as much time as I can with them. I love beaches. I enjoy reading, music, and movies. I guess I am a sports nut ... especially ice hockey and football. My kids play soccer (both), ice and deck hockey (Sean), and feild hockey (Katie). Now that feild hockey is a hard one to figure out! I like to be outdoors fishing, hiking, and camping - anything outdoors really. A nice big fire on a cool night. Long walks on the beach. If I ever win the power-ball the first thing I do is buy a house at the beach!

SYNOPSIS:
A raw, compelling glimpse into a young man’s ill-conceived scheme to redeem himself in the eyes of his
ex-girlfriend. Ron (John T. Woods in a breakout performance) lures Carol (played by the charming and
beautiful Marion Kerr) back to his apartment under the pretense that he is going to return her favorite
mug. When it seems this will be their last moment together, Ron desperately maneuvers to strike a chord
with her in his own uniquely heartfelt way. Ain’t It Cool New has hailed it as “Brilliant” and Rogue Cinema
praised the film as “...a beautiful little movie...funny and touching...”. On March 5, 2008 it was officially
certified as Dogme Film #242.
