I am a 20 year old male hailing from Atlanta, GA. I am experiencing this journey called life trying to appreciate every min. of opprotunity that God blesses me with. I am learning to Glorify God through enjoying Him forever. I'm getting away from fooling with drink and sex and ambition when infinate joy is offered to me. I want to stop being like an ignorant child who want to go on making mud pies in a slum because he can not imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. I want to stop being far too easily pleased.
I am also in a band with five of my brothers in Christ. We are called Sophia.(www.myspace.com/sophiarock) God is doing different things in each of our lives through this experience. With me He has shown me that passions change but the one thing that remains constant is Him. He has given me a passion for trying to extend the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the broken group of kids that attend hardcore shows. I love performing on stage and finding where I end and God begins. But what's better is sharing with the kids about why I do what I do. It's not because I am special; by no means, "22For in my inner being I delight in God's law; 23but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin." Romans 7:22-25 But it is because Chriast has a free gift for all and I long to share that with who I can. "God demonstrates His own love for us in this, while we were still sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
It's not so much about the end result, but about what you experience on the way there.
