CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!
give em a listen, you wont regret...
Deep Sound Channel - A feast of infectious grooves and exciting improvisation fusing live drum and bass with acid funk and a side order of filthy dub. Drawing on influences ranging from the psychedelic rock and jazz of the 60's/70's, through funk, dub, drum & bass, breakbeat to more modern acts like Eric Truffaz, The Cinematic Orchestra and Jaga Jazzist to name but a few.
Ribtumbler - Playing 'dreamy loops dubs and grooves' these guys will blow you away with their instrumental ambient reggae vibrations washing through you. If you've got 'em, smoke 'em.
Tribal Infinity - The sound is a mix of dark lyrics, moody female vocals, melancholic piano solo`s, cello`s and sweeping strings combined with ambient / trip hop beats. Taking influence from the likes of PJ Harvey, Trent Reznor, Tori Amos, Radiohead, Portishead and Massive Attack.
DJ Sidecar Swampy - Described as a cross between Bentley Rhythm Ace, Mr.Scruff, Fila Brazillia and The Beta Band, this guys unique style will get your head spinning the wrong way with his blend of weird and wonderful dubbed up electronica.
hey you crazy noise makers, if you want to read my review of the maze gig go here

Check out the bands in our top friends, this one's gonna be a guddun!
Seretone -
These guys have quickly developed a reputation as one of the most imaginative and exciting bands breaking through today. Breathing a euphoric high into the monotonous mainstream.
The Silver Tongues -
Here's a refresher course in psychedelic soul.
Psychedelic: - Head music, for gettin' out of your box to, blowing your mind to.
Soul: - That's dancin' music, getting your groove on to, movin' to.
This is where The Silver Tongues come in....
Lucky Bullet -
This North Notts band have spent the last few month perfecting their sound, and now with several EP's under their belt, they're on their way. The sheer power of these epic psychedelic songs will knock you off your feet!
La Maison -
La Maison is in Nottingham, it has one room, four walls and four residents. For four years these residents have experimented with sound, playing a mixture of rock n roll and progressive post gangster rap...these boys make their own heads hurt trying to find the perfect melody which may never exist...
haha! i'm possibly the biggest dumbass i know...
after speaking to you on the phone the other day, i realised that the review of your demo has already been done...
you can find it in the current issue of the saggy-pants magazine, which is lying around at TOA, J7, The Maze, Sound Control, SelectaDisc and a few other places...
hope you had a good birthday Nick and will arrange to meet you for a chat soon...
take it easy
-steph
ooohhhh- very different - like it - needs a few more dedicated listens - and obviously some form of mastering - but yeah a nice variation on a theme :-)
