'This Heaven' has been chosen to close the film, "Let It Ride", about snowboard icon Craig Kelly. For anyone who knows anything about surf, skate or snowboard culture, you'll know what an honour this is. Its narrated by Metallica's James Hetfield... our two songs close the film. (Won best soundtrack and film at The Sundance Film Festivals' X Dance). We've alsso recently placed "Never Meant To Hurt You" in the new film Powder Blue starring Jessica Beale and Forest Whitaker.
After all this studio work I'm ready to rip this stuff live and direct in your city. Having played well over 1000 shows, I can say that playing live is my thing. We've held held down the longest residency in N. America at Steamers in Victoria with my crew VELVET. I've been blessed to have played with such diverse acts as The Chemical Brothers, Fishbone, Nelly Furtado, Matisyahu, Maceo Parker, Champion, DJ Shadow.... recently opening solo acoustic for cool bands like Digable Planets, Blackalicious and De La Soul.
