If you're here, you probably already know a bit about me, don't you?
I can never do one thing for long. I worked for years on a ranch when I was younger, since then I've worked as a barista, I've worked for the Denver Sheriff's Department, I've worked in the corporate office of T.E.N. (yes, THAT T.E.N.), I've worked at a civil engineering firm, I've worked at a high end tea shop, I've guerrilla marketed for Sobe, I've been the lead singer in a rock band (yes, paid), I've worked as a bartender, and I presently work on a federal grant tutoring chemistry, and am building an experimental payload through a second grant from NASA to launch to the edge of space. FUN!
I've lived in Seattle, WA, Beverly Hills, CA, College Station, TX, various cities in CO, and I spent the majority of my formative years as a kiddo living on the United States Air Force Academy.
I speak many languages & hope to travel to places where they'll prove useful sooner or later.
I've penned several published papers and essays and continue to enter into writing contests whenever I stumble across enough free time to write something worth reading.
The only things I've ever decisively made up my mind about are my myriad of tattoos and my husband. I'm also mother to a small army of rescued animals.
My husband is generally the most excellent human in the history of history & he spoils me rotten.
I hate network and cable television & haven't really watched TV since the 90's. The TV in my living room is only hooked up to my PS3 and my Wii (and periodically to any number of older consoles).
If I had to waste the rest of my life doing absolutely nothing productive, I'd play video games until I died.
If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, you're going to have to ask.
I saw a whole bunch of girls running around in that kind of dress! O.O Do we all shop at the same place? It was odd that I didn't see you at all this weekend. Maybe it was because of the sea of people. ><;
How goes the Mommy-To-Be fun time? :D Are you excited?
Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! How exciting! :D Aw, Sprokie just had her baby, and now your pregnant, which means, they can be con buddies! XD I'm so happy for you. TwT <3 *Huggles*
The name sounds familiar.... but not sure. Yes we just ordered our pool pump at the house, so we should have the pool ready to go soon. Margaritas poolside anyone? :)
Ugh, that sounds terrible... I know they can probably just remove the gallbladder, but as far as duodenal ulcers go... I haven't the foggiest as to what could be done about that :< Well if you feel up to it, I'd be more than happy to pay you a visit and bring some goodies. I'm sure Rin would be delighted to join me, as well :)
Thanks! The trip was great and I still have way too many photos to post. LOL, they keep freezing up Myspace! We should get together while you are here. Let me know when you have some free time and we can chill. Love ya!
Are you guys gonna be doing anything special for him? It worries me because I've never had to deal with anything like that, so I'm not sure the correct way to respond. I can only imagine the pain you must be going through, something you can't control or stop. It's so tragic. T.T And yes, I worked things out with everyone, now noone hates anyone for the wrongs reasons and we're starting over and forgetting this whole mess. ^^ So now that the drama is over, I can focus on comforting you. What's your address again? You can pm me if you dun want to announce it in my comments. XD
Hey, I'm making peace like a good girl, I'm sorry I did all of this at such a terrible time for you. I hope your feeling better. Your in my thoughts every day, and I'm mourning for your close person as well. T.T *Hugs* I'm sorry. TT^TT
Aw, thanks, it was a trial run. XD Ah, Let's see, we didn't get there until later in the afternoon because of snow, and once we got there we heard the formal started an hour too early so everyone was flipping about that. Um, they printed the schedule on a paper, and handed them out, unfortunately I didn't get one cause they ran out and had to print more. I lost my vip pass which again, was just paper, at the rave, which was the only real event I went too. But anyways, after cosplaying the rest of the night a Haruhi we went to bed. Woke the next day got dressed as Rangiku and headed out, not really with a plan seeing as we had to wing it because of the lack of scheduling. There were however some photoshoots I wanted to go to, but since the con was spontaneously interrupted with a wedding, we had to clear the halls for a couple hours, hiding out in rooms. The room the Amv contest was too small, causing a great deal of frustration, the cosplay contest people didn't tell the contestants clearly what they had to do on stage, the sound was terrible everywhere, either way too loud to the point of hearing in the lobby, or way too low. Um, The dealers room was better, nothing worth spending alot of money on though, just figures and stuff. I didn't see any bootlegged items and the hentai table was out of the way so I could look away as I passed. Oh! And they didn't card the B21 room which was a big party for +21 with alcohol and someone complained about teens hanging in there. ;x But yeah, for boasting so much about their unique and different panels, it was useless because we weren't even able to go to any of them because the times were all screwed up. :T Sunday was full of nothing. As I told others, we spent most of the con sprawled out on the floor. We seemed to be more entertaining then the actual events, lol. Hm, and my 16 year old friend was able to spend most of the con without her badge. Never got asked for it.
