Kultur began their musical assault in October of 2004. The four members- Adam Sloan, Tyson DeBrito, J.C., and Jeff Belcher- recorded a self titled four song disc after only three months of the band's conception. 2005 approached, and the quartet hit the studio yet again for the "One Must Decide Chaos" EP. The music was well recieved by Massachusetts radio station's, airing the songs "I Am Vengeance" and "Legion" on a frequent basis. CDs sold quickly being available only at live shows, as Kultur opened for many national acts touring through the Northeast.
Citing personal reasons, bass player J.C. chose to leave Kultur in 2007. Auditions to take the open seat began, and Joe Harasyko found his way out of the dense Appalachian forest to become the band's new low end man.
With the current line up solid, the band spent the next year in the studio working on their full length album.
Their influences spanning a wide variety of metal and hardcore, Kultur brings ten diverse songs to the metal scene with the release of "Dying Tradition."
