In times of financial crises when the records industry is hardly surviving: KUMQUAT, led by the visionary art of Ondrej, still bets on a better future.
I could not be present this time for supporting this important vinyl and my only merit was flashing like hell while discovering the original version among the fabulous productions of Khainz.
For different reasons, Distance could not be released immediately; I guess the best things take their time!
The whole package is truly to collect with my favorite original Distance revisited by fantastic different versions: rich and colorful, intense and madly percussive, grooving my Latin soul on the dancefloor…

oxia rework) prime time is the new project championed by oxia. it includes jeremy carrasco and johan speissegger both involved in the underground techno scene since the 90's, creating their sound from their lab/studio in the suburbs of paris. on their second ep (first for goodlife) they deliver us 3 groovy minimal techno tracks. metro has a very strong bassline surrounded by a dark ambiance whereas rotor and acid park are more hypnotic. oxia not only picked up these tracks for goodlife but he also put his hands on the parts and reworked the track rotor, keeping the original vibe but emphasizing the dancefloor side. a must have.
