WELCOME TO PANDA RESTAURANT!!

PANDA RESTAURANT is the follow-up of BEIJING STORY (2000-2007), a cycle of works about the confrontation between East and West. PANDA RESTAURANT, however, deals about the future, about virtual reality, internet, the problems of modern day society, where was BEIJING STORY was more about the dealing with the past. For PANDA RESTAURANT she is planning to realize 3D structures, virtual paintings and other crossmedial forms of output. The paintings are more influenced by fashion design from the 20's to the 90's. PANDA RESTAURANT is at the moment mainly in the first stage of process, so do expect more to come...

BEIJING STORY: I'm a young paintress from Beijing, I've spent my childhood there and in shanghai and then moved to Belgium at 16 years. There I've lived in Ghent and now since 10 years I'm living in antwerp. My one passion is painting so after my studies at the antwerp academy I worked like hell, leading to a production of around 40 to 50 canvasses per year plus numerous drawings.
