About us: Originally based in Auckland, NZ, Kurb Promo arrived in April 2007 to begin offering Australian musicians some of the most effective online marketing strategies available, tested and developed with some of NZ's top acts. Our business is to consult with you and get to work using continuously developing new techniques that we know work.
I'm Matt Turner, 28, born and raised in NZ, graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations Management) in 2002. Since then I have been a DJ, worked in radio, run a record label, worked as promotions and booking agent for several bars and clubs and 2 and a half years ago I started Kurb Promo. Some months later started my first myspace account. I now have over 41 regular clients, 2 staff, and many, many myspace accounts.

We provide promotions at a budget suitable to your experience in the industry. We do not provide feedback on song writing or execution.
All promotions should consider a Street campaign, an Online campaign and a Media campaign. Short of posting press kits out to those names we maintain on our media database, we do not conduct media liason/campaigning otherwise known as "publicity".
We would not consider bookings for any act not on our packages.

The Cat O’ Lane showcase gig has been finalized. The line up will include Robbie Melville on guitar, soon to return to his international music commitments, we are very happy to have him on board. Also, a real bonus is percussionist/drummer Malcolm Abbott, and of course myself on vocals and guitar. It should be a real hoot.
