Here's me in Real Life:
My Sketchblog
Read my very cute webcomic
Twitter Me!
And now, the pithy biographical sketch:
I am an illustrator, comic artist, and general Art Mercenary
Unfortunately I also have a dayjob (for now)
On good days:
I'm a producer/director at the local NBC affiliate. It's a great learning experience and I've been given a lot of reponsibility and flexibility. I'm also technically the webmaster, and am planning to make big changes to the station's web presence.
On bad days:
I make crappy commercials for a living. I'm also being exploited for my graphic design/web geek skills.
I am part Hun
I am trying to get back in the habit of drawing every day, because those skills are languishing. I've noticed that I get really depressed when I'm not drawing, but it's not a compulsion like it used to be. Working on changing that.
I yawn when I'm nervous
I dig comics. I have it in my head to write the Great American Comic Book (y'know, like the Great American Novel, but visually), but I don't think I have a story to tell. Trying to get back into the habit of writing, too.
I am allergic to scallops
Learning to live without fear. And work without fear. My plan is to make a lot of crappy art this year, because at least I'll have done something. So far, it feels great.
