About me:
I'm a left-handed, politically incorrect libertarian curmudgeon. If there were a label that could accurately be applied to my philosophy on politics & economics and general outlook on life & human relations, it would have to be something like "free market anarchist" or "voluntaryist", but ultimately I despise labels.
I'm an audio engineer, musician, singer, songwriter, computer programmer, and web site designer.
I always had an interest in technology (especially electronics and robotics) and music. When I was little, toys were for taking apart to see how they worked and I wasn't much interested in the games my siblings and younger friends were playing. I gravitated toward adults early on, watching, learning, asking questions. Even today, some of my most trusted friends are people who are much older than me.
Been playing guitar since age seven. Played drums for a little while, but never got good at it.
Serve a variety of music and audio clientele in my home studio, provide concert sound, building and providing systems for festivals and club installations with my own little sound & lighting company and do freelance programming and web site design. 3rd Ear Productions.
Front a ProgRock band called "Temple 8".
Have another more personal and autobiographical web site in the works, kurttischer.net dedicated to my guitar playing stuff and political rants.
