Kurt Steven Angle (born December 9, 1968) is an American professional wrestler and former Olympic gold medalist amateur wrestler, who is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and is the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion.He earned numerous accolades before winning an Olympic gold medal in heavyweight freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Between 1998 and 2006, Angle wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, where he won six World Championships.
