Listening to kurt david is like taking a walk in our world. It is real. It is hard. It is beautiful. The emotion put forth behind a variety of musical mediums including guitars, percussion, keys, bells, violin and harmonized vocals intertwines with poignant lyrics creating a striking sound. He finds his inspiration from frail, nearly hopeless situations. With stories stemming from a heart beating for bleak inner-city life, kurt david hands you a broken world and says, “Do something about it.” A shiver will arise within as you hear the clever words delivered by folk voices. Long after the singing ends, you will hum Kurt David’s songs with a new-found wonderment for the world that desperately needs you. kurt david makes his home in a small town outside of Philadelphia, and is currently finishing up his bachelors degree in Sociology at Eastern University.
