See above. I'm really interested in widgets and gizmos and belly button fluff (purple).
Anything that endeavours to explore new sounds and is not afraid of the unfamiliar and uncomfortable. Rhythmic structure does not have to be instantly accessible and I like a tune that makes you work to find the thread that binds its elements together. Anything that manages to be both an homage and a pastiche of UK dance music scenes get the thumbs up from me for that alone. I also enjoy lyrics that tell me about myself, provide unique takes on world events or transport me into an escapist world of beautifully surreal imagery. Girls Aloud are wicked... .. ..
I'm all but convinced that the film format is inadequate for enlightening its audience. Few films dare to venture beyond a 3 hour duration, meaning they often fail to explore their subject in any real depth, instead providing summaries or glossing over important details. I, like most people, would be loathe to sit through a long film that didn't teach me anything. In a cinema, we are captive to the film's duration; I don't even much like pausing films on DVD too often. Films, with a few exceptions, are no more than an introduction into the vast ocean of knowledge found in books and in the minds of scholars, innit. They can also be very entertaining - a particular favourite is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The bit where Chevy Chase gives the finger to that trucker - he he - priceless.
I hate people who think telly is for idiots. It is not. I like Coronation Street.
I’m not a fan of reading. I support Forest.
Rob McCaffrey of Sky Sports for being obliviously shallow.

I like skiing, surfing, hang gliding, bunjee jumping and other extreme sports. Never tried any though - what d'you think I am? Mental?
Suzie Dent off Countdown. I'd just make random noises, ask her if they're real words and if so what they mean. I could go on for hours. Peter Beardsley is my hero and I'd love to meet him and shake his hand.
