Kuta is a kind of solo project...but not only... This new musical life started in 2000 with the release of a first self titled CD.Singer and musician from the south of France, Kuta first album recieved a very good response in the country for an unsigned artist (almost 5000 copies sold).This with a little help from the music stores Fnac which made a massive national promotion as the album was the first unsigned one to be sold in all 65 stores!
The Cd had also good articles in important music magazines (Rock'n Folk, Magic!...see blog for more details). Voice and music were compared to Bowie, Sylvian...
After that, it took 2 years to give birth to "Out Of Warrens", the second album, recorded with friend and guitarist Eric Beaufils, 2 years of working on sounds, melodies, lyrics, recording... The result is a ethereal pop, most of the time quiet but not sad,with touch of electronica...
And then a break..to come back to writing at the end of 2005. Two years after, the new album "A Home" is finished and available!
Once again , recorded with some friends musicians (Pierre from Rain, Mathieu from In Extenso and Sébastien from Mr Bidule), "A Home" has a prestigious guest, as Mike Garson, wonderful american pianist for David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails (among many other names...) is playing on the album.
