About me:

Read the rest of my profile and my blog. That will give you a better idea, but if you want to be lazy, here's a summary.

I am an Atheist, and believe that religious fundamentalism is a disease of the intellect. Religious groups use food, clean water, clothing, education and shelter as leverage to aid in the brain-washing of the less-fortunate domestically and abroad. Anyone who uses solely their religion to govern their lives, and attempt to govern everyone else's is a fucking moron.

..

I am pro-choice. I would only have an abortion under a few highly unlikely circumstances, but if someone else uses abortion for birth control (while I might find it deplorable), it is none of my business because I don't have to live with the consequences, real (guilt/regret, financial burdens) or imagined (eternity in hell).

..

I believe that rapists and pedophiles should be executed on first offense, and that in murder trials, the death penalty should be looked at on a case-by-case basis. Assisted suicide should be legal and the doctors safe from criminal and civil liabilities, as long as all the proper paperwork has been signed by their patient/client. Picking up your loved one's body at the hospital morgue is better than finding them in some gory state in their home, and asking someone to stay alive when they are clearly suffering is just wrong.

Personal possession of all drugs should be decriminalized, and marijuana and "magic" mushrooms should be legalized. Otherwise law-abiding citizens should not be punished for what they choose to put into their bodies, any more than cigarette smokers and alcohol drinkers are. People selling drugs that are not legal should be punished accordingly. Operating a vehicle under the influence of a drug should be punished, just like people are punished for drunk driving.
