KXUA is a student-run radio station located in Northwest Arkansas at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. We are a non-profit, registered student organization dedicated to serving the community with the most ECLECTIC blend of music possible. While we read public service announcements each hour, our format is commercial free. We never play any songs that have appeared on the Billboard Top 40 charts in the last 50 years. All of our DJs are volunteers, and anyone affiliated with the university (student, faculty, or staff) can apply. During the day we have "rotation shifts", meaning DJs play several tracks each hour from a set of CDs that have just recently arrived at the studio. The rest of the time they are free to play anything they like, including requests. After 6 PM on weekdays and all weekend long we have genre shows. These shows focus on a particular area of music and are completely programed by the DJ. (For a complete schedule see the calendar) KXUA also sponsors a few local musical events each year and we try to extend our eclecticism to these events.

I haven't been by in a while. Hi! I've just about gotten my album finished. I think it's going to be better than the first one! I haven't been playing out much thanks to the studio, but I have some shows and stuff coming up. Also new shirts! What have you been doing?
